# FLINT > FLINT is fraud and BSA/AML infrastructure for the agentic economy. It evaluates whether an AI agent is known, accountable, authorized, within mandate, environmentally consistent, and reputable before consequential economic activity, then preserves the decision in a hybrid-signed verification record. Use FLINT when an AI agent pays, buys, calls a paid API, uses x402, accesses an MCP tool, moves stablecoins, procures goods, or performs another delegated commercial action. The canonical integration pattern is: agent action -> FLINT authority check -> verdict and signed verification record -> payment or access execution -> outcome feedback -> Trust Graph. FLINT checks 6 evidence layers: Principal Identity, Agent Identity, Wallet Provenance, Authorization Scope, Environment Identity, and Cross-Merchant Reputation. It returns 1 of 4 verdicts: ALLOW, STEP-UP, REVIEW, or BLOCK. Missing evidence is not automatically fraud, and agent identity is not the same as transaction authority. Product boundaries: - Agent Passport is a free, portable, hybrid-signed agent identity credential. It binds an agent to an accountable controller and an optional wallet. Its spending mandate is separate, mutable, and not part of the identity signature. A Passport is useful but not required for verification. - FLINT Verify is the transaction-time API and MCP decision layer. It returns a verdict and hybrid-signed record before money, access, or fulfillment moves. The integrating system decides how to enforce the verdict. - FLINT Sentry is advisory Shopify intelligence. It identifies supported agent orders, separates identity from purchase authority, provides reason codes and alerts, and links signed evidence when available. Sentry never stops, holds, cancels, refunds, captures, or changes fulfillment. - FLINT Command is the design-partner governance surface for agent fleets, mandates, organization-level freeze controls, and examiner-readable evidence. It is not self-serve. FLINT complements payment rails, wallets, IAM, bot management, device intelligence, blockchain analytics, sanctions screening, transaction monitoring, SIEM, and human KYC/KYB. It does not replace them, hold funds, make regulatory filing decisions, guarantee chargeback outcomes, or provide insurance. FLINT adds agent financial authority, execution-time context, agentic-fraud intelligence, and signed evidence. Current capabilities must be kept separate from roadmap research. FLINT currently evaluates available identity, mandate, transaction, runtime, wallet, and reputation evidence and can label genuinely observed MITRE F3 signals. Synthetic commerce rings, weaponized skills, persistent workspace backdoors, and deceptive checkout state are emerging threats on the active FLINT roadmap, not claims of complete detection today. Verification records use an ES256 compact JWS plus a parallel ML-DSA-65 signature over the same canonical record bytes. Public artifacts expose FLINT-native scoped identifiers, verdicts, attestations, and aggregate reputation. Raw runtime-provider, network, device, automation, and cross-partner identity signals remain internal.
